This is the only picture I took all weekend! |
Eric and I spent Christmas up in WA and had a great time with both sides of the family! We spent Christmas Eve with the Francos and Christmas Day with the Vander Pols. It was great to see everyone! I was lame and didn't take any pictures. :( Maybe I'll borrow some from the awesome photographers of our family.
Here are the last few things that I made at school
Cinnamon Rolls |
Sticky Buns |
Lemon and Blueberry Pastry |
My first Croissants |
My first Pain au Chocolat (Chocolate Croissants) |
Bear Claws |
Apple and Cherry Danishes |
A Tetes (means head...they look like sheep to me) |
My Pithivier practical (looks a lot better than my first) |
Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread |
Apple Strudel |
failed Panettone (the formula we used in class was a little off) |
My final Croissants and Pain au Chocolat. My teacher said I should be proud of these. :) I was, only after she said that though.
I really liked this last class and learned a lot. I now have a great appreciation for breads, how pretty they can be and how much work they are to produce. :)
My next class is International Patisserie, Cake Formula and Assembly. I will keep you posted!
